TTT is a recreation of the classic Garry’s Mod game mode for s&box. It was my first larger multiplayer project in the engine, and I led most of the development with help from another programmer and community contributors.
I worked on the core game loop, traitor/detective systems, round flow, networking, UI, and a lot of the small rules that make TTT feel like TTT. The game reached thousands of players, and the open source code later helped other people build their own versions.
I documented development on YouTube, and the devlogs ended up getting tens of thousands of views and a lot of player feedback. Development eventually stopped because s&box was changing quickly at the time, and engine updates kept breaking major parts of the game.
